We’re seeking an experienced PR professional to join our team and help our clients navigate complex media landscapes and achieve their communications objectives.

Position Overview

As a Senior PR & Media Relations Specialist, you’ll develop and execute comprehensive public relations strategies for high-profile clients in technology-driven and security-focused industries. You’ll manage media relationships, craft compelling narratives, and position our clients as thought leaders in their respective fields.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic PR campaigns aligned with clients’ business objectives
• Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts in technical and trade publications
• Craft press releases, statements, byline articles, and other media materials
• Provide crisis communications counsel and rapid response services
• Prepare clients for media interviews and speaking engagements
• Monitor industry trends and identify strategic PR opportunities
• Measure and report on PR campaign effectiveness
• Collaborate with digital marketing teams to ensure integrated communications
• Manage client expectations and deliver exceptional service

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of PR experience, with proven success in aerospace, defense, technology, telecom, or related industries
• Strong understanding of technical topics and ability to translate complex subjects into accessible content
• Excellent media relations skills with established journalist contacts
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
• Experience handling sensitive information and crisis communications
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field
• U.S. citizenship/permanent residency and ability to work in the United States
• Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and events

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with government contracting processes and regulations
• Knowledge of security clearance procedures
• Background in technical writing or journalism
• Experience with media monitoring and analytics tools
• Professional certifications (APR, etc.)

This position is based in the United States with flexible work arrangements available.
