Senior Visual Designer

Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and versatile Senior Visual Designer to join our team. This role requires a true design generalist with exceptional skills across multiple visual disciplines. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in motion graphics, user interface design for interactive experiences, and the ability to create compelling visuals for immersive and mixed reality environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative visual solutions that engage audiences and elevate our brand.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop motion graphic videos that communicate complex ideas in visually compelling ways
• Create intuitive and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces for interactive touch programs
• Develop visual assets and experiences for immersive environments including AR/VR/MR applications
• Collaborate with UX designers, developers, and content strategists to ensure cohesive design implementation
• Establish and maintain visual design systems and style guides
• Present design concepts and articulate creative decisions to stakeholders
• Stay current with emerging design trends, technologies, and best practices
• Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Iterate designs based on user testing and stakeholder feedback

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• 5+ years of professional experience in visual design with a diverse portfolio
• Demonstrated expertise in motion graphics creation and animation principles
• Proven experience designing interfaces for interactive digital products
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (particularly After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Strong understanding of design fundamentals (typography, color theory, composition)
• Experience with prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar)
• Excellent visual storytelling abilities
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to adapt design approaches for different platforms and contexts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with 3D design tools and techniques (Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya, or similar)
• Previous work designing for AR/VR/MR experiences
• Understanding of spatial design principles and environmental considerations
• Knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) or game engines (Unity, Unreal)
• Experience with designing for accessibility and inclusive design practices
• Background in exhibition design, experiential marketing, or immersive installations
• Understanding of technical constraints across different delivery platforms
• Prior work with interactive storytelling or narrative experiences
